Back to “can you hunt in poor visibility”… absolutely yes.

When the water will be warmer and mullets start to came back, poor visibility is the best condition for sea bass and mullets around piers.

In the Med, I often use to make “aspetto” like fishing just before the surf-line near rivers or points: that is hunting ground for sea bass and you can easily spot them if you lay at the bottom and look up… their silhouette will be shown against the light sky much further than your visibility limits.

Last summer i got my first daytime trout near Hornbaek harbor just 2m out of the surf line on one meter of water. To try this you will need plenty of leads: i carry always a second belt with 6 additional Kg just in case i need to fish in water less than 2m deep.

Cheers!
