Hi everyone!
I’ve been diving for quite some time but never had a decent wet suite made for spearfishing… I’m now finally about to buy a new custom made one from Elios. Do you have any experience and tips as to which is best for our northern conditions? I’m choosing between the two below (descriptions from Elios).
1. 7 mm gold coating cell inside / Lycra Superstretch Black outside Neoprene Yamamoto 45. It’s a high-quality rubber, the most elastic suite in the world, warmth, adherent to the body, perfect for divings around 30 mts, durable and very very slippery to get into.
2. 7 mm open cell inside / Nylon Camouflage Hyper Stretch Beige outside. Neoprene Yamamoto 45. It’s the latest Exclusive Camouflage Superstretch for Elios, a High Quality product for spearfishing, super-elastic, super-soft, very very elastic and very warmth but you must use talcum or water-soap to get into it.
The price is the same but the main choice seems to be between gold coating (easy to get on) or open cell (requires soap). Any comments?
Thanks!
Henrik
