Hi All,
For everybody that is planning to go diving in Tisvilde this weekend (Kaprifolievej) there is a nice bonusYesterday I have “placed” one brand new knife model “Microsub Race” in the sea in the area just in front of the staircase: around 30-60m from shore, in between the shallow with vegetation where the HØs love to hide… :blink:
Whoever is lucky enough to find it can just pb me or call me on the mobile: the prize for such lucky endeavour is the knife own sheath with laces and all!! :woohoo:

I was testing it and it works great! Killing the fish instantly thanks to it’s wide triangular shape.
Unfortunately i am used to have the knife tied to the sheath with a piece of soft bungee so i can just drop it and concentrate on the fish… but i forgot that this one was just out of the box… when i realized i was already 2-4 m far and i couldn’t locate the spot again :side: -
Once I was afraid of stepping on a greater weever / fjæsing when bathing, but these days I’m more afraid of being perforated by spearfishers gear dropped the night before!
Let it be a reminder for us to secure our gear even more, before we unintentionally hurt someone, pollute the ocean even more and just because losing gear sucks.
Use a basic cord, elastic cord (e.g. like this), make your own leash like these rod leashes etc.. the shops or other of you guys probably have even more nice solutions, feel free to share. Not meant to point fingers, I’ve placed an ultra sharp titanium knife in the first “bathtub” last year at a regular sandy beach, for kids to play around with :blush:
